In support of the children who attend our Speech & Language Classes here in Saint Anne's, all our pupils make an effort to wear purple or yellow on DLD day, to raise public knowledge about Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). DLD is a lifelong condition that makes it difficult to understand and use spoken language, affecting about 1 in 14 children. This condition often goes unrecognized because it isn't visible.
